DCS player FIDE rated Koushik R of Canara College, Mangalore has won the title in the National level LATE ADV. KESHAVRAO CHOUGULE MEMORIAL OPEN CHESS TOURNAMENT ( for Under 19 age group) organised by Nutan Buddhibal mandal, Sangli, Maharashtra 18th to 20th November 2007.
He was awarded Late Sardar Madhavrao Raste Memorial Silver Rolling Shield along with the cash prize. The event was the part of prestigious "Sangli Chess Festival".
