Adith starts season with flying colors

Adith Jagadish

Adith Jagadish of Lourdes Central School came out glorious to start the season with a winning note in DCS Invitational Rapid Chess Tournament organised on 30th March 2008 by Derik's Chess School, Mangalore. He scored unbeaten 6.5 points in 7 rounds to walk away with the Rolling Trophy. Prakash V Rao, Canara College was placed 2nd with 6 points and his college teammate Kaushik R scored 5.5 points to secure 3rd place. The event comprised 8 FIDE Rated players and in all 50 invited strong junior players of the city. Shabdik Varma of SDM Ujire stole the limelight by securing 6th in the main prize list beside winning Under 11 section.
